The Post-Dispatch Top Workplaces award is based on an employee feedback survey that measures organization health from the employees that make up the workforce. Several aspects of the company culture are measured including alignment of management goals, execution, and connection between top management and employees of all stripes. Top Workplaces like CK Supply consistently display a strong belief in where the organization is headed, how it is going to get there, and the overall feeling that everyone in the organization is in it together.

This award highlights CK’s value in being people-oriented. We strive to make things better for our customers, suppliers, employees, and community everyday and to win this award speaks volumes about the amount of work and dedication our employees and management team has put into the company.

After celebrating our 70th year in business and commemorating it with our custom “Lunch Atop a Skyscraper” statue that celebrated all current and former employees, the city of St. Louis dedicated June 15th as CK Day. We were recognized as being a longtime area business that impacted industries such as construction, manufacturing, universities and research, automotive, food & beverage, energy, and metal fabrication. This honor is proof that a business whose goal is to improve the lives of our employees, to adhering to a set of core values, and dedicated to doing the right thing, every time, is one that can also be profitable and prosperous.

This award is a great honor for a business that works primarily in industrial supply, construction and manufacturing. The hazards of working with gas are many and to be recognized as a healthy and safe workplace is a distinction we wear with pride.
